Tel Aviv welcomes UAE ties with sand art

Tel Aviv welcomed Israel-UAE ties with an invitation to its sandy beaches



"From our sandy beach to yours," tweeted Tel Aviv's municipality on August 26, 2020 in the wake of the UAE deal. The agreement has fostered immediate artistic interest in how the new ties could knit together the dynamic art scene in Israel and the Gulf.

According to Israel21c "Tel Aviv-Yafo municipality extended a visually impressive invitation to potential UAE tourists.Six of the Emirates’ distinctive landmarks were sculpted from sand at Tel Aviv’s Geula Beach by sand artist Tzvi Halevi, alongside the greeting “Welcome” in Arabic, Hebrew and English.
