Palestinians to return representatives to UAE and Bahrain
The Palestinian Authority will return representatives to Manama and Abu Dhabi after several months in which they were absent. The decision came after the Abraham Accords were announced and then signed between August and September. The reaction of the Palestinian Authority was to remove its envoys to protest the US-supported peace agreements. Now the representatives will return in the wake of a visit by the king of Jordan to Abu Dhabi in which he met the king of Bahrain and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
"In light of [PA President] Mahmoud Abbas's international contacts and given the written and verbal commitments we have received from the Israelis, we will resume relations where they were before May 19, 2020." the PA said.
