Israel's IAI will attend CyberTech in UAE

Israel Aerospace Industries, for the first time, will officially attend the CyberTech Global week in Dubai, the company said on April 4. "Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) will participate in the CyberTech exhibition hosted in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, expected to take place from April 5 to April 7."

Israel Aerospace Industries is Israel’s largest aerospace and defense company and a "globally recognized technology and innovation leader, specializing in developing and manufacturing advanced, state-of-the-art systems for air, space, sea, land, cyber and homeland security," the company's statement said.

IAI will focus on promoting communication and local cooperation with local government agencies, defense forces, local industries and academic initiatives, in order to further expand the company’s activity in the region. CyberTech is the largest networking event for the cyber industry outside of the U.S, the company said. IAI attended IDEX earlier in 2021, with other Israeli companies showing off their abilities for the first time at the defense confab. Now at Cyber Tech IAI is expected to showcase new cutting edge capabilities.

"IAI delivers solutions in the cyber domain to customers worldwide in addition to our vast portfolio in space, air, land sea and HLS. Over the past year throughout the COVID-19 crisis, in particular, we saw increased demand for cyber security solutions, for enterprises, critical infrastructures, governments and nation states," said Boaz Levy, IAI's President and CEO.

Since the singing of the accords IAI has declared a Memorandum of Understating (MoU) with Group 42 to fight against the COVID-19 virus, as well as with EDGE Defense to cooperate on producing defense solutions for the region.

"IAI is proud to participate in CyberTech in Dubai, and showcase our cybersecurity products and solutions, for national level cyber resilience. We are developing unique and advanced cyber solutions for intelligence, monitoring, identification and accessibility. IAI sees CyberTech as an opportunity to share our knowledge, best practices and solutions, and strive together for a safer and cyber secure world," said Levy.

"IAI is the leader of IC3, the Israeli Cyber Companies Consortium, and IAC3, the Israeli Aviation Cyber Companies Consortium, both of which were established under the auspice of Israel's Ministry of the Economy. The consortia were established to create comprehensive holistic cyber solutions for national defense as well as for commercial aviation. IAI is a global leader and has ample operational experience in the development and implementation of national cybersecurity organizations," the company notes.
